Conference about Sports Diet, Mediterranean Diet and Sports
The event included the presence of two prestigious Doctors as well as the coach and director of the Masters in Training and Sports Nutrition from the School
Last Thursday 22 of June, the Real Madrid Graduate School - Universidad Europea, celebrated the conference of sports diet, Mediterranean diet and sports at the Villaviciosa de Odón Campus in Madrid. During the event, held in collaboration with the American Pistachio Growers, they talked about the health benefits of the Mediterranean diet, sports recovery strategies and the benefits of sports for our health.
The Doctor Nieves Palacios, who is a specialised Doctor and director of Endocrinology and Nutrition at the Sports and Health Department at the Spanish Agency for Health and Sports Protection, talked about the nutrition and health benefits of the Mediterranean diet and dry nuts.
Sergio Jiménez Sáiz, Director of the Masters in Training and Sports Nutrition, and who is also a Personal Trainer, talked about the recovery strategies in the sports world, especially when it comes to diet.
We also had the pleasure of the presence of Alejandro Lucía, who is a Professor and one of the most important scientist in the world of sports and physical activity. He spoke about the latest trends in sports performance.
